At La Tijera all students will be empowered to be active
participants in their learning with the support of staff,
teachers, parents and the community to become lifelong
learners who successfully contribute and participate in a global

The faculty and staff of La Tijera K-8 Academy of Excellence
Charter School is committed to preparing each student for growth so that
they may excel academically and socially by providing them with a
rigorous standards based curriculum through research based instruction in
a safe and welcoming environment.
