About Ms. Chappell

Ms. Chappell has worked at La Tijera K8 School for over 20 years as the Technology Teacher and Coordinator.

 

Prior to working at La Tijera, she owned and operated a Computer Learning Center called C.L.I.C.K.A. (Computer-based Learning for Inner City Kids and Adults).  She also worked at Xerox Corporation as a Programmer/Systems Analyst for 10 years.

 

At La Tijera, Ms. Chappell teaches students how to repair computers, how to code and she also helps students improve their academic skills utilizing online systems like Imagine Learning, iReady and MobyMax.  This year Ms. Chappell will be teaching a PLTW Robotics course to 6th grade students.

 

Ms. Chappell enjoys empowering students and teachers to reach beyond their imagined potential as it relates to technology and learning.
